Swinging Bonobo

Inspired by a visit to Edinburgh zoo during the annual breeding season when nests rings with pebbles are placed for penguins to choose their best spot. Pink/purples/oranges with directional marks with shots of pure colour make up the background. The penguin is defined through expressive and controlled brushstrokes, bringing it forward from the background. This painting would suit a plain room to add a shot of colour or a room which has accents of colours which may well be picked up through the many subtle and strong colour options present in the painting. It would also suit animal lovers and those who like a more abstract and expressive style of painting.
